The other day the funniest thing happened, this is what happens after you have been married over a year...apparently.
Andrew and I were cuddling on the couch watching some TV when I looked up at him and my mind went to all of the things I love about him and how handsome he is, what a support he is to me, and how loving he is. I then started thinking about when we were dating and our faces were this close how my stomach would get butterflies and I would be wondering if he wanted to kiss me or should I kiss him, and then I thought, Isn't it great that I can just kiss him now when ever I want too?!!! So I went in for a kiss when...
He totally backs away and says..."You smell like onion."
so much for the good 'ol days.
That is hilarious! And pretty sure I felt like I was reading about my own life. Marriage changes everything :)

ReplyDeleteahhh...i love it. the wonderful truth - too bad it's only been 9 months for us, and JUST last night, as we were watching the biggest loser, as I went to kiss him - he smelled like differential fluid of a car...i said, eww and he told me i needed to shower.
ah, the life. good thing we're all so in love!
