I must blog...I am so distressed about my favorite show...The Bachelor. I have been so into it!! Monday night was always my favorite because of my show. Andrew and I got super into it...I don't think Andrew really had a choice. I waited forever for the FINALE!! here it was, we had Cafe Rio and complete confidence in our favorite Melissa. I WAS SOOO INTO IT!! It was like Andrew watching a Utah football game. My heart rate was going crazy, my palms were sweaty, and I could barely make it through the commercials. When he went to give the final rose he gave it to Melissa...FINALLY A BACHELOR SHOW TURNS OUT HAPPY!!!! I was thrilled. I was literally yelling and just plain giddy, it was amazing...oh wait, not so fast. 
Then...they did a more current "after the final rose" show. Jason decides to break up with Melissa and go with the one he dumped on the show Molly. I thought I was the only one into it? Oh no, Andrew is slouched down next to me with both his hands cupping his mouth in shock. And I was just infuriated...I even flipped him off. Andrew was like, "Did you really just do that?" I was so upset, I couldn't even sleep that night. I know therapy might be needed, but I am taking this time to say, Jason...you are an idiot and deserve total and complete unhappiness. I mean come on, you humiliate Melissa by breaking up with her ON NATIONAL TELEVISION and then seconds later bring out someone, whose heart you already broke, on stage and totally MACK ON HER?? I mean have some class...just pathetic. I found out today that Melissa is dating someone else, which makes me happy, but i really wish she was the next Bachelorette, Jillian will do. Although I don't think I'll be able to get my hubby to watch this next one with me when I acted the way did...I am ashamed.

ReplyDeleteWhat I was trying to say is AMEN! Kyle and I were so upset after watching it this week! I actually couldn't believe how into it Kyle got (makes me happy!) and I am happy to see Andrew supports your obsession with the show as well :)
I couldn't stand Molly! She is annoying and had ugly hair all the time. We LOVED Melissa and I am happy to hear she is dating someone now and happy!
I am excited for Jillian to be the Bachelorette! She was my fav up until she got sent home!
It's sad how obsessed I get over this show. I love it, though!
I finished watching the show at midnight and then of course I had to stay up and watch the "After the Final Rose" It is 1am and I am yelling at the TV. I laugh about it now, but seriously break up on National TV that had network ratings written all over it. It was horrible to watch...although I still couldn't turn it off! HAHAHA!
